Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for an experienced Registered Nurse at a prominent acute care facility in Rochester, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Administer medications safely and accurately, monitor patient responses, and manage IV therapy.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, document patient status, and report changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
