We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Rochester, New York. Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition, vital signs, and medical information.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of all patient care activities in the electronic health record.
Ensure a safe, therapeutic, and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and preferences are respected.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
