This role involves providing comprehensive professional nursing care within a fast-paced Cardiology Clinic in State College, Pennsylvania. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting providers, and educating patients on various cardiac conditions and treatments.
The successful candidate will actively engage with patients, families, and caregivers, coordinating care to ensure optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience. This position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques.
Exercise sound professional judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-management strategies.
Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care with patients, families, and caregivers.
Administer a variety of medications and treatments as prescribed.
Utilize various types of medical equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
