We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This role is based within a dynamic acute care hospital setting, providing an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of practice. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and health history.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
Perform and assist with medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact state license eligible for New York endorsement.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
