We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This role is based in an acute care setting, providing essential nursing care to a diverse patient population.
The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of individualized care plans, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of patient conditions. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative healthcare team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and health history.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical information accurately and timely.
Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work effectively in Rochester, New York.
