Travel Nurse RN - $2,826 per week in Akron, OH

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Akron, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM, one weekend call per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday), and one working shift on Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks. May be rotated on holiday call schedule as needed.

Requirements:

• Current, active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of application
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be current and active
• Minimum 18 months recent RN experience; CVOR experience strongly preferred
• Experience scrubbing and circulating open heart cases required
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in specialty within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Background check with no open cases and clean license record
