Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Akron, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM, one 24-hour weekend call per 6 weeks (Saturday and Sunday), and one working weekend shift per 6 weeks. May be rotated into holiday call schedule as needed.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or current Compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum 12 months of permanent RN experience; CVOR experience preferred
• Experience circulating open heart cases strongly preferred
• Managerial reference from specialty within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Clear background check with no open cases and clean license record
