Description
Position Description: Please note the schedule is 5pm-1am. Saturdays might be required.
This is a food production facility, nurses might be required to visit the plant floor to administer aid.
This position is responsible for: providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, dispensing over the counter and prescription medications as ordered, and assisting with required health assessments for specified programs.
Other duties include conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing, spirometry testing, or audiometric testing, maintaining OSHA state and team member health records, and participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs. Other responsibilities include: assisting with team member health promotion, education and training programs, identifying workers compensation cases, assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as the need arises.
RN Duty Expectations:
Weekly Plant Walk Through – walk through plant monitoring Team Members for Health and Safety
Documentation – Accurate SOAP Notes via Computer and Paper
Physical Assessments and treatments – Occupational injury and Illness assessments and follow up, Non Occupational assessments, Emergency Care
Medication Administration and Documentation including vaccinations
