Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Geneva, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring positive patient outcomes. This position requires a commitment to professional practice and patient advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established nursing standards and facility policies.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all interventions.
Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status effectively.
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
