Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an acute care setting in Havre, Montana. This role is crucial in providing direct patient care under the supervision of professional nursing staff on a Medical/Surgical unit.

The successful candidate will contribute to a structured care environment, adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will play a vital role in supporting patients' daily needs, comfort, and safety across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct nursing care to patients on the Medical/Surgical unit under the supervision of professional nursing staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient data as required.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Adhere strictly to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a CNA in an acute care or Medical/Surgical setting.
