• Schedule Notes: No weekend shifts unless called in; call coverage may include 1–2 weekday calls per week and 1–2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks.

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Endoscopy or the applicable specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient care communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the Endoscopy unit
• Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery throughout endoscopic procedures
• Support physicians and the care team during procedures while maintaining efficient patient flow
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and respond to changes in condition as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain professional standards, safety practices, and a patient-first approach in a busy acute care setting
