• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Schedule: Day shift, with start times that may vary between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call Expectations: 1–2 weekday call shifts per week and 1–2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Location: Akron, OH

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent endoscopy nursing experience required
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation with a passing score
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and flexibility for a day-shift travel RN role
• Compliance items must be completed prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for endoscopy patients in an acute care setting
• Support patients through pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, GI teams, and the care team to promote efficient workflow and positive outcomes
• Assist with documentation, patient education, and procedural readiness
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled and remain flexible with shift variations
• Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality care practices
