Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM OR 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Overview
Client  is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical care and support sedation procedure management in an outpatient setting. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, and candidates must be interested in converting to a full-time Penn Medicine position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for sedation procedures

• Perform IV placement and assist with procedure preparation and recovery

• Complete timeout documentation

• Manage medications in the clinic

• Conduct pre-op and post-op patient calls

• Triage clinical calls and MPM messages

• Complete FMLA paperwork and medical necessity forms

• Support safe and efficient outpatient patient care

Preferred Experience

• Ambulatory/Surgical Nursing

• Cardiology

• Telemetry

• Sedation/procedure management

Requirements

• BSN required

• Active RN license

• Relevant clinical nursing experience

• Reliable transportation

• Must be willing to convert to a full-time Penn Medicine employee

Interview: Virtual, on-camera Microsoft Teams interview. Missed interviews will not be rescheduled.

Training

• 5-hour training on a Wednesday prior to start, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

• 15-minute HIPAA module through Penn Medicine's LMS

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Blue

• RTO must be listed on the submission cover form

• Former Penn Medicine employment must be disclosed

• Candidates must disclose any duplicate submissions through other agencies

Compliance

• COA due within 48 hours of award acceptance

• Medical and drug screening must begin within 72 hours

• Candidates must be ready to begin compliance immediately after accepting the offer
