Job Title: RN Ambulatory Outpatient Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Group Operations Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 1 year of experience in a clinic setting; allergy clinic experience highly preferred License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Triage/phone triage skills - Experience in rooming patients - Ability to administer injections - Comfort with pediatric patients - Skills in taking vitals, medication and history review - Proficiency in allergy reviews and performing allergy questionnaires - Ability to field medication refills - IV skills preferred - Experience performing spirometry preferred - Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinic Description: The position involves providing care in an ambulatory outpatient setting. The responsibilities include floating to specific assigned locations as needed. The provider will follow a specific provider for patient care. Patient types include adults and pediatric patients. Specialties include allergy, immunology, and asthma/pulmonary care. The average daily census is between 16 to 24 patients. There will be a support staff of 3-4 RNs per clinic each day. Patient service representatives will be available at the front desk. A manager or supervisor will be accessible daily via communication tools. Charting will be done using an electronic medical record system. Flexibility to float to other clinics is required based on operational needs. No weekend rotation or on-call duties are expected. Approval for time off is permitted up to 5 days. Shift times will be scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM. Scrub colors can be any color.
