Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system Description: Advanced Heart Failure Clinic. Shift time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No weekend requirements. No call requirements. Fast-paced advanced heart failure clinic. RN takes orders from provider after visit and enters them into the electronic medical record (EMR). Reviews changes and plans with patients before discharging them. Educates patients on medication changes, heart failure basics, and preparation for any upcoming testing. Standard clinic equipment includes vital signs monitoring, EMR, and call light system. Primary patient diagnoses include systolic and diastolic heart failure, as well as atrial fibrillation, amyloid, and sarcoid. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams. Candidates may be required to float within nearby facilities. Each candidate can only be submitted to one position at a time. References from a supervisor are required at the time of submission. All candidates must comply with background checks and fingerprinting as per state requirements.
