Job Title: Pediatric RN Ambulatory Care Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: 2 years ambulatory care experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Client, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Movement disorders, Neuromuscular disabilities, Autism experience preferred Description: Position for a Pediatric RN in Ambulatory Care. The successful candidate will require 2 years of ambulatory care experience. BLS certification is mandatory. No weekends or call required. Responsibilities include triaging and managing patient messaging and communication via phone and patient portal. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify plans of care for specific patient assignments throughout the healthcare continuum. Proficiency in electronic medical records is essential, with documentation in a clear, complete, concise manner, and in SBAR format when appropriate. Experience in neurology and/or epilepsy is preferred. The role may include contacting patients for changes in clinical management. Ongoing care coordination between clinic visits will be required, involving communication with families, healthcare team members, and other agencies involved.
