TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Ambulatory Care RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of prior clinic experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Excellent verbal customer service skills and de-escalation techniques Description: Registered nurse working in a busy family medicine clinic. Employee will support a physician and three advanced practice prescribers. Registered nurse will work alongside nursing colleagues to complete complex phone triage. Responsibilities include managing medication refills and prior authorizations. Educating patients on diagnostic results is essential. Involvement in transitional care management and patient advocacy is required. Employee must possess strong communication skills. Experience in automated external defibrillator (AED) use is preferred. Ability to assess and interpret vital signs and laboratory results is necessary. Familiarity with handling patient follow-up calls and scheduling appointments is expected. Skills in triage and medication reconciliation are important. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. There will be a daily patient census of approximately 55 visits.
