Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Previous outpatient clinic experience is required. GI clinic experience is preferred. License: Wisconsin or Compact license. Pending licenses are acceptable with an estimated time of arrival of 3 weeks. Certifications: BLS certification is required. Must-Have: Preferred experience with an electronic charting system. Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in outpatient clinic settings. The nurse will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must have prior experience in an outpatient clinic. Experience in a GI clinic is preferred but not mandatory. BLS certification is required before the start of employment. Nurses must have a Wisconsin or Compact state license, and pending licenses are acceptable during the application process. The role may involve patient assessment, scheduling appointments, follow-up phone calls, and medication reconciliation. Close attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. The nurse should be familiar with handling insurance verification and interpreting laboratory results. The daily patient census is approximately 70 patients, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
