Travel Nurse RN - Ambulatory Care - $2,266 per week in Norfolk, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3-5 years progressive clinical experience in the related specialty preferred; pediatric experience preferred License: Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license Certifications: CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire Must-Have: Professional certification in the area of expertise or BSN, MSN or NP preferred Description: Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support a defined patient population program or service. Demonstrates excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education. Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care. Reports to Practice Manager/Supervisor and works in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Plans, provides, and monitors specific patient needs following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Participates in ongoing quality assurance, maintains regulatory requirements, and assists in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
