- Experience with cardiac catheterization lab procedures
- Skills in arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping
- Ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias
- Familiarity with inserting/programming AICDs and performing pacemaker insertions
Description:
This position is for an Electrophysiology RN to cover for a caregiver on leave.
The schedule is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The contract duration is for 31 weeks.
Local, non-local, and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
The RN must have experience with specific cardiac procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction/removal, as well as the Watchman procedure.
Candidates should have knowledge in antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics.
The role requires strong patient engagement skills, including patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence.
The RN will participate in team collaboration and quality improvement initiatives.
Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly in charting, is required.
No weekend or on-call requirements for this position.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in obtaining 12 lead EKGs/ECGs.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in cardiac step-down units, cardiac telemetry, or cardiac ICU experience.
Additional preferred qualifications include familiarity with certain therapies related to atrial fibrillation management.
