Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a travel nursing job in Norwell,, Massachusetts.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Urology Ambulatory Practice
Facility: South Shore Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 Weeks 
Shift: 8-Hour Days (5x8)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Schedule

  • Day shifts only
  • Office hours
  • No weekends
  • No evenings
  • No nights
  • No holidays

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Telephone communication and patient triage
  • Patient education before and after urology procedures
  • Perform bladder instillations
  • Care for urology patients in an ambulatory clinic setting

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient/acute care experience
  • Required ambulatory clinic experience
  • Required phone triage experience
  • Comfortable with urinary catheters and catheterizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Urology experience (ambulatory or acute care)
  • Chemotherapy/Oncology experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience with catheters and drains
  • Emergency Department experience
  • Procedural nursing experience
  • Walk-in triage experience

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong ambulatory clinic background
  • Excellent patient communication and education skills
  • Comfortable managing phone triage
  • Experience working independently in an outpatient setting
