Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Urology Ambulatory Practice Facility: South Shore Medical Center Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 8-Hour Days (5x8) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

No holidays
Job Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments
Telephone communication and patient triage
Patient education before and after urology procedures
Perform bladder instillations
Care for urology patients in an ambulatory clinic setting
Minimum Requirements
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
Minimum 1 year of inpatient/acute care experience
Required ambulatory clinic experience
Required phone triage experience
Comfortable with urinary catheters and catheterizations
Excellent patient communication and education skills
Comfortable managing phone triage
Experience working independently in an outpatient setting
