Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) Certifications: American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: Outpatient clinic experience Description: The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team. The nurse plans and implements patient and family education. They are responsible for assessing the needs of patients and initiating appropriate interventions. Essential Job Functions include: Collecting comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. Identifying expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation. Developing a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implementing the identified plan of care. Employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Systematically enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Attaining knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice. Evaluating one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines. Interacting with and contributing to the professional development of peers and colleagues. Collaborating with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
