Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week Hours:
6:30 AM–5:00 PM, or
7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Days: Monday–Friday with one weekday off Call Requirement: Approximately 2–3 call shifts per month
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Apheresis RN to perform complex therapeutic and collection procedures. Candidates must be clinically independent and have recent hands-on experience with multiple apheresis modalities.
Non-Negotiable Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent apheresis nursing experience
Therapeutic plasma exchange experience
Red blood cell exchange experience
Leukocyte reduction experience
Stem cell collection experience
Preferred Experience
At least 3–6 months of previous travel nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
Perform therapeutic plasma exchange procedures
Complete red blood cell exchanges
Perform leukocyte reduction procedures
Support peripheral blood stem cell collection
Assess patients before, during, and after treatment
Monitor for adverse reactions and changes in condition
Maintain vascular access and procedural equipment
Coordinate care with providers, laboratory staff, and the interdisciplinary team
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in the department’s rotating call schedule
