Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Schedule: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric behavioral health patients.
• Complete psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize therapeutic communication and crisis intervention techniques.
• Assist in patient de-escalation and ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC.

• 21-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population (18+ years)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–7
