Highlights:
Specialized BMT unit serving mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical oncology patients with a 36-bed capacity
Advanced specialty procedures including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
Patient population includes ALL, AML, CLL, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic malignancies
Epic charting system with GE telemetry monitoring; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
72-hour orientation period with one pre-approved time off period available
Float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed
Requirements:
Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hematology oncology experience (within last 12 months)
Medical-surgical experience required
BLS certification (current)
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification (required)
ACLS certification (preferred)
Epic charting experience required
Documented experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma
Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line management, PICC care, and feeding tube management
2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
