Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Burn specialty at a Level 1 Trauma Center with Burn certification, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with burn injuries in a dedicated ICU setting, supporting an experienced multidisciplinary team. The position offers an opportunity to work in a highly regarded facility that manages complex and critically ill burn patients.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, no minimum years of experience required
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma certification, ICU experience with burn care, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) desirable
Additional Information: The role involves caring for progressive and intensive care unit burn patients, following established protocols and SOPs, ensuring adherence to AHA guidelines and ENA standards. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing high-level clinical care for critically ill patients.
