Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. This position involves evaluating and providing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience and certifications to excel in this critical environment.

Shift Details

• Day shift: 4 shifts of 10 hours, from 07:30 to 18:00.
• On-call requirements: rotating schedule every other weekend, with additional on-call responsibilities during the week.
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and documenting duties during Cath Lab procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the catheterization process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Cath Lab experience.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system is required.
• Proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition is necessary.

Additional Information

During orientation, the candidate will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both is required.
