Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab, cardiovascular procedural area, or similar high-acuity setting strongly preferred
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety, comfort, and continuity of care
• Assist the procedural team with prep, circulating, and recovery support as needed
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly and appropriately in a high-acuity setting
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, cath lab staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Promote a calm, organized, and compassionate care environment for patients and families
