Job Summary: The organization is seeking a qualified Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory position in Lakewood, California. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong clinical background in cardiac catheterizations and possess the necessary certifications to support patient care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, with one day off during the week. Shift hours are typically starting at 0730, with occasional start times at 0630, and a total of 10 hours per shift.
Required Qualifications: Valid California State License (in-hand when applying); ACLS and BLS certifications in-hand upon application; at least 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization procedures; experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (adult), left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and monitoring procedural sedation. Experience with Epic electronic health record system must be documented in work history.
Preferred Qualifications: CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute in-hand when applying; experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Travel Experience: Required
Additional Information: No RTO within the first two weeks; a maximum of 7 days of RTO can be requested per 13-week contract, and all RTO must be included in the submittal. Two supervisor references are required upon application. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The manager may or may not interview candidates.
Modules: Completion of billable modules via UC Learning Center, estimated at 16.8 hours for RNs. Modules are completed during orientation or at home post-start, and are self-reported.
