Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the catheterization lab, working closely with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care during cardiac procedures.

Shift Details

  • Rotating 4x10 hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30 & 09:30 - 20:00)
  • Shifts may vary as staff will stay until all procedures are complete
  • All team members will rotate shifts weekly for consistency

Patient Care Ratio

1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during procedures.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

  • Required to work on weekends, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month
  • On-call requirement includes one weekday call shift each week

Position Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in catheterization lab or equivalent
  • First-Timers: New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Licenses: Valid South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
  • Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency; facility does not supply
  • Special Requirements: Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Cath Lab is essential

Miscellaneous Information

  • Open to accommodating block scheduling, subject to manager's approval
  • Local radius rule: 60-mile limit
  • Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission
  • Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every two weeks

Emergency Response
