Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse North Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality clinical nursing care within a hospital setting, focusing on patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The nurse will coordinate care, participate in patient education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing; Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessment and care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • Participate in patient and family education related to care plans and discharge process.
  • Perform bedside point of care testing and utilize healthcare standards, policies, and procedures in daily care delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary resources to develop and update care plans.
  • Communicate effectively using established systems and participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Promote a safe hospital environment and adhere to public policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Additional Information: The RN is expected to float between the Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVU). Experience in acute cardiac care, pre and post-procedural care, and Epic electronic medical record system proficiency are highly preferred.
