Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Cath Lab environment, particularly in Angio and Vascular procedures, and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during angiographic and vascular interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the procedure room and ensure all necessary equipment is functioning and ready for use.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) using EPIC.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedures and post-procedure care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in the Cath Lab, Angio, or Vascular is required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position offers a shift of 5x8 hours, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The selected candidate will be expected to take call every third week.
