Cath Lab Nurse

Join our team as a Cath Lab Nurse and be a crucial part of our patient care team. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in administering and monitoring conscious sedation, assessing and monitoring patients' clinical status, and possessing knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct thorough assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients' clinical status pre, during, and post-procedure.
• Demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge of Cath Lab medications and their applications.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols, infection control measures, and hemodynamic support guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the patient care team, patients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Required licensure: BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac diagnostics, interventions, and implantable devices.
• Knowledge in EP mapping, ablation, vascular diagnostics, interventional radiology is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend rotations (weekends are covered by call).
• On-call commitment includes approximately every 4th weekend and one weekday call per week.
• Navy scrubs will be provided for all staff.
• Facility features a total of 226 beds, equipped with 2 Cath Lab procedure rooms and 5 pre/post-care holding bays.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC and Merge, is advantageous.
