Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of cath lab procedures and experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Cath Lab RN, you will work in a fast-paced setting, performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures. Your expertise will ensure optimal patient outcomes while supporting a multidisciplinary team committed to cardiovascular excellence.
Charting will be performed using Epic software, thus familiarity with this system is required.
Each clinician is expected to fulfill a set number of on-call shifts and late shifts within each six-week period. One full weekend of call must be scheduled together, while remaining call shifts can be taken individually. Availability to return to the facility within 30 minutes when called is necessary.
Our cath lab serves adult patients and consists of six procedure rooms with a daily census ranging from 15 to 20 patients. Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, heart failure, and closures for atrial septal defects/patent foramen ovale. Advanced procedures include TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, and thrombectomy, among others.
This facility is an acute care teaching hospital featuring over 700 licensed beds and recognized for its excellence in cardiac care. As a designated Level I Trauma Center and certified stroke center, it has received accolades from various national organizations for its comprehensive cardiac services and advanced treatment options.
