Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) position located in an acute care setting. This role involves circulating and monitoring complex cardiac procedures, including Structural Heart cases such as Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman, PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertions, Impella-assisted PCI or implantation, and ECMO cannulation. The position requires experience with EPIC electronic medical records and MacLab equipment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with approximately one weeknight call per week and 1-2 weekend calls per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 p.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.). No self-scheduling; leadership assigned. Travel RNs and Travel Techs must be flexible to work Monday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: WA State license or Compact license, minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience including circulating and monitoring, experience with Structural Heart cases, BLS & ACLS certifications, and familiarity with MacLab and Epic EMR systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: High travel experience, MacLab experience, and flexibility between Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) areas.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if otherwise arranged.
• Additional Information: This is a STEMI receiving center. Cardiac procedure duties include case circulation, procedural sedation, and sedation testing. Scrubbing is preferred but not required. The unit offers a 1-week orientation covering GHO (3 days on-unit) and weekend Buddy Call.
