Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) Days On-call required The organization is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures. This position involves supporting various complex cardiac procedures within a busy laboratory environment, ensuring patient safety and procedural success.

Job Details

• Position Description: Cath Lab RN working in a 2 Cath Labs and 1 Hybrid Operating Room, performing procedures such as PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman, with equipment including GE Innova IGS, Phillips, and GE MacLab.
• Certifications/Education: Valid RN license (MD or Compact license required), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab or interventional scrubbing experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:30-17:00), with on-call responsibilities up to 13 weekdays and 3 weekends per contract, including holidays.
• Responsibilities: Assisting with complex cardiac procedures such as IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman; monitoring patient status; and documenting procedures using advanced equipment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC documentation system, cardiac procedures (e.g., Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Cardiac Stent Placement), and a minimum of 2 years' experience performing cardiac catheterizations and related interventions.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions, with no special requests for float or schedule modifications.
• Submission Requirements: Certification documentation and active MD or Compact RN license required at time of submission; compliance documents due 5 days prior to start date.
