• Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Cincinnati, OH 45211
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• On-Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month, based on departmental needs
• Work Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Hybrid procedural environment

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in Cath Lab, telemetry, critical care, ER, or OR
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; preferred at hire
• Ability to respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to perform in high-acuity, fast-paced clinical situations

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
• Support cardiac catheterization and peripheral procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
• Function independently as scrub nurse and circulator as needed
• Assist with hemodynamic monitoring, conscious sedation, and procedural support
• Respond quickly and confidently to urgent and emergency cases, including STEMI activations
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Support patient education, family communication, and safe transitions of care
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based nursing practice
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and calm under pressure in a busy cardiac care setting
