Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist (Cath Lab) position is located in southeastern Washington within a regional healthcare organization serving the Tri-Cities area, including Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. This role involves supporting interventional cardiology and radiology procedures in a busy Cath Lab environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with diagnostics and interventions, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RT (Radiologic Technologist) or CVIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification; RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) eligible for CVIS license in Washington; at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; associates degree or higher; location in or willingness to be 60 miles or greater from the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures; outgoing, adaptable, and team-oriented personality
- Additional Information:
- This is a new position supporting expanded service lines within the Cath Lab
- Equipment includes Philips and McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet systems
- EHR systems in use are Paragon and McKesson-Change Healthcare
- Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients
- Scrubs provided in green, and no preliminary uniform restrictions
- On-call responsibilities include 7 shifts per 14-day pay period, with variable weekend hours
