Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience and/or Interventional Radiology experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, angiograms, and procedural patient care
• Ability to assist with interventional radiology cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
• Skilled in sedation administration and recovery of sedation patients
• Experience with arterial access recovery and post-procedure monitoring
• Strong teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
• Comfortable working in a procedural environment with manager interview required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Cath Lab and Interventional Services setting
• Support a variety of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures with clinical precision and attention to safety
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation recovery and arterial access recovery
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the broader care team to ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure recovery and monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Cerner charting system
• Follow procedural protocols and contribute to a safe, efficient patient care environment
• Participate in call coverage and monthly weekend rotation as scheduled
