Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: – Terre Haute, IN
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Employment Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 10-hour shifts
 

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with cardiac intervention, EP, and rhythm management procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Manage STEMI call responsibilities and provide emergency cardiac support.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Support a high-volume procedural environment while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Primary Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-Call Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (varies by rotation)
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed: 40 hours/week
• Rotating on-call schedule:
  • Approximately once per week
  • Every 5th–6th weekend (Friday–Monday coverage)
  • Flexibility to assist with additional call coverage as needed
• Six-week rotating schedule with rotating days off
• Includes a scheduled four-day weekend within the rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• Acute care nursing experience
• Strong cardiac catheterization experience required
• EP experience preferred
• Ability to participate in STEMI call rotation

Required Certifications

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
