Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialty experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit's scope of practice, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care.

Work Schedule

• 5 days per week with a guaranteed 40 hours
• Open to 4 ten-hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Core Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care according to established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Effectively manage patient flow and workload within the Cath Lab.
• Utilize strong cardiac knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong cardiac experience and proficiency are essential.
• Cath Lab experience is required.
• Flexibility to float to different units as needed.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• MediTech experience is preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Active and valid Michigan state nursing license at the time of application.
