Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist for a position in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory located in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiology and vascular specialties. Candidates will support a team responsible for complex imaging and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, with a total of 12 hours per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS). No minimum years of experience required; candidate must demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, radiology, and related imaging modalities.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before their scheduled start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Willingness to take call responsibilities, approximately 1-2 days per week and some weekends and holidays, is required. The position involves working with Siemens imaging equipment, monitoring patients' hemodynamic status, and supporting procedures such as angiography, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker, and intra-aortic balloon pump insertions.
