Assignment Details

  • Facility: Ocean University Medical Center
  • Location: Brick, NJ 08724
  • Start: ASAP (13 weeks)
  • Weekly Pay: [$X,XXX gross]
  • On-Call: 4 weekday call shifts plus 1 weekend call (Friday–Sunday)
  • Weekends: 1 per month (on-call)
  • Holidays: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday (on-call)
  • Openings: 1

About the Role
ShareSTAFF is looking for an experienced Cath Lab circulating RN for a 13-week assignment at Ocean University Medical Center on the Jersey Shore. You'll care for patients before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The team needs someone who can circulate PCI, Impella, and balloon pump cases on their own.

What You'll Do

  • Circulate and assist physicians on LHC, RHC, PCI, pacemaker, and PE cases
  • Assess patients, set care priorities, and carry out individualized care plans
  • Manage pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care
  • Support patients on Impella and IABP
  • Document care in Epic and Mac-Lab according to acuity and clinical standards
  • Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement work

Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (2 years preferred)
  • Circulating experience with:
    • Left and right heart caths
    • PCI
    • Impella
    • Balloon pump
    • Pacemaker insertion
    • PE cases
  • Epic and Mac-Lab experience
  • Active NJ RN license or multistate compact license
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Telemetry certification or competency
  • ASN required

Preferred

  • BSN
  • Critical care background
  • Sensis experience
  • EP experience
