Registered Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $860–$900
• Location: Camden, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: On-site cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) and cath lab
• Employment Type: Per diem, local nursing opportunity
• Start Date: October 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Schedule: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule period, including 3 weekend shifts and 3 weekday shifts
• Call Requirement: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule period; weekend call as needed
• Holiday Requirement: One major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, one hallmark holiday from fall/winter, and one hallmark holiday from spring

CVOR and Cath Lab RN Requirements

• At least 4 years of Level I trauma experience
• Recent CVOR or cath lab nursing experience
• Required experience scrubbing endovascular cases
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on patient safety and quality monitoring
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating care across the operating room and procedural team

CVOR / Cath Lab Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, knowledgeable nursing care during cardiovascular, cardiac catheterization, and endovascular procedures
• Scrub endovascular cases while applying strong procedural knowledge and sterile technique
• Circulate in the CVOR or cath lab while coordinating supplies, equipment, documentation, and team communication
• Support the care of high-acuity patients in a Level I trauma environment
• Monitor patients closely and promptly communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain strict compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, sterile processing, and quality standards
• Coordinate care efficiently across the cardiovascular operating room and procedural team
• Participate in scheduled shifts, call coverage, weekend assignments, and holiday coverage as required
