Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8, 10, 12 hours per shift Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in mixing medications. Strong teamwork skills. Willingness to help colleagues. Description: Provide moderate sedation and administer medications. Perform charting and circulating duties. Assist in pre-operative and post-operative areas. Work in a team of 4 consisting of 2 RNs, 1 Radiologic Technologist, and 1 RCIS or Radiologic Technologist. Average 4 cases per day, including emergent revascularization, left heart catheterizations, right heart catheterizations, and other procedures. Familiarity with equipment such as EPIC & Philips Xper for hemodynamics, Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, and invasive imaging technology. Support team lead with scheduling and daily operations. Expected to float between heart and vascular pre/post areas as needed. Participate in on-call duties, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Response time for on-call duties is 20 minutes. Required to provide own lock for locker and designated work shoes. No additional time off can be approved after initial submission.
