Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,186 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in specialty applying for is required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS - must be active and in hand at time of submission. Must-Have: One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Description: Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedural cases. Call is required and will be discussed during the interview. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. The traveler will receive two attempts maximum to pass; otherwise, the assignment will be canceled. Background checks of any kind will be reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted. It is important to note that any license hits will not be accepted. All travelers (except nurses and certified surgical techs) must be nicotine free. A negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen is required within 12 months of the start. This requirement must be updated annually. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for one year from their previous end date. A 6-month break is required before returning unless approved. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with average time requirements varying by specialty. Annual modules will be billable for up to 4 hours for those who have been on contract for a continuous year.
