Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,186 per week in Canton, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Cath Lab experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: Must have 18 months permanent Cath Lab experience prior to travel. Must have experience in circulating and documenting. Must have Epic experience. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable. Day shift consists of four 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00 with call requirements. On-call duties include every other weekend or potentially every third weekend depending on staffing. If not on weekend call, the call is approximately two days a week. If on call during the weekend, then one other on-call day is expected that week. The nurse manager will discuss the on-call rotation and is available to answer any questions during the phone screen. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. References from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for are required. All required certifications must be active and pending issues should not exist. Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time. Background check hits will be reviewed, and an open case will disqualify the traveler. Facility does not accept any license hits. Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. All other travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative drug screen is required. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months after which a six-month break is required. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, with time needed varying by specialty. Annual modules may be billable for travelers on contract for a continuous year.
