This is a pass/fail test with two attempts given. Failure after two attempts will result in an automatic cancellation. Description: The position requires experienced registered nurses specializing in the Cath Lab. The shift is 4x10 hours during the day. On-call duties are required, averaging 21-28 days within a six-week cycle based on departmental needs. Candidates should have previous charge experience. Experience with specific patient ratios is preferred. Familiarity with community hospital settings is valued. Experience with interventional and diagnostic catheterizations is essential. Candidates should be skilled in activated clotting time management, antiarrhythmics, and antihypertensives. The role includes assisting with central line insertion and management. Responsibilities encompass monitoring procedural sedation and administering emergency medications. Nurses will be involved in various cardiac procedures, including pacemaker insertion and percutaneous coronary interventions. Knowledge of infection prevention and maintaining a sterile environment is crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team are necessary. Compliance with safety protocols, including radiation and laser safety, is expected.
