Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: IV start, circulate, telemetry, conscious sedation Description: The position is for day shift, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening, night, weekend, and holiday call may be required. Work may also be in holding department. Adult patients with a variety of disease processes will be cared for. This job requires procedural area skills, including pre and post-care. Experience in hemodynamic monitoring and PACS is preferred. Candidates must have knowledge of Meditech EMR. BCLS and ACLS certifications are required. 50-mile radius restriction applies for candidates. Candidates with any background hits or licensure action will not be accepted. Required skills include starting and maintaining IVs, circulating procedures, and procedural sedation monitoring. Experience in cardiac and vascular interventions is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the facility. Expect to work some weekends and holidays in rotation with staff. Continuing education and skills evaluation opportunities are available during the assignment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities. A focus on patient safety and infection control practices is essential.
