Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. - Pre-procedure assessment of patients. - Management of vascular access and device implant sites (radial, femoral, IJ, device pockets). - Administration of medications as needed. - Assistance with cardioversions. - Monitoring of vital signs and ECGs. - Provision of post-procedure discharge education. Description: The RN Cath Lab is responsible for providing pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-procedure assessments. The role involves managing vascular access and device implant sites such as radial, femoral, IJ, and device pockets. Administering medications as needed is also an essential duty. The RN will assist with cardioversions and monitor vital signs and ECGs throughout the procedures.
